If you’re in the mood for small-town charm, a more rural setting, and an event that feels distinctly Pacific Northwest, Amboy is worth the drive. If your ideal Saturday starts with local shopping and a peaceful pace, the Battle Ground Farmers Market is a great stop. The market is moving to a Saturday-only schedule beginning this weekend, with hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 15 NE Grace Avenue. It’s a great way to enjoy the weekend while supporting local vendors, picking up fresh produce, handmade goods, baked treats, and other local finds. To round out the weekend, Vancouver’s GoFest 2026 is happening July 11 and 12 at Vancouver Waterfront Park. This free two-day event brings a themed adventure to downtown Vancouver and gives families, kids, and friend groups a fun excuse to explore the waterfront together.
