As we head into the weekend of May 30th, 2026, there are plenty of great reasons to get out and enjoy the community in Vancouver Washington. Whether you are looking for a family-friendly outing, a lively local market, or a fun stop before touring homes, next weekend offers something for everyone.
One of the most popular weekend traditions in the area is the Downtown Vancouver Farmers Market, held next to Esther Short Park. Open year-round, this market is a favorite for fresh produce, artisan goods, flowers, baked treats, and a great way to connect with local makers and small businesses. If you love discovering the personality of a community, this is one of the best places to start your Saturday morning.
If you enjoy a little automotive flair with your weekend plans, check out Waterfront Cars and Coffee at the Vancouver Waterfront on Saturday, May 30, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This free event is a fun outing for car enthusiasts and casual visitors alike, with a scenic setting that makes it easy to turn the morning into brunch or a walk along the river afterward. The waterfront continues to be one of Vancouver’s most exciting gathering places, and events like this are part of what makes the area so vibrant.
For families looking for an active and uplifting event, Our Time to Shine at WSU Vancouver on Saturday, May 30, offers a fun run/walk, kids’ activities, and a community festival atmosphere. It is a great example of the kinds of events that bring neighbors together and showcase the welcoming spirit of Southwest Washington.
While you are out exploring the area, do not forget to add a few home tours to your weekend plans. We will be hosting open houses across the region, giving you a chance to see what is new on the market and get a feel for different neighborhoods in both Vancouver and Camas.
Looking just ahead to the following week, the Camas Farmers Market returns for the season on Wednesday, June 3, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in downtown Camas. This popular midweek market features local produce, plants, food vendors, kids’ activities, healthy eating demonstrations, and live music. For 2026, the market is operating in a temporary location near 314 NE Birch Street. It is a great event to keep on your radar as summer gets underway.

Weekends like this are a great reminder that buying a home is about more than square footage. It is about finding a lifestyle and a community that feel like the right fit. If you are out and about next weekend, we would love to see you at one of our open houses!
