I'm the Problem...and the Solution!

Real estate agent reflecting on professional growth, coaching, accountability, and joining a supportive real estate team

One of the things we love most about our company, PLACE, is the access we have to world-class coaching and conversations that push us to grow in every area of our lives. Brendon Burchard, the world's leading high-performance coach, tackled a topic on our most recent call that we knew we wanted to pass along. We covered that when things aren't going the way we want, we are often more a part of the problem than we'd like to admit.

Brendon pointed out that when we point fingers at outside circumstances, it's usually because of one of three things:

  • Fatigue. When we're tired or overwhelmed, it's easier to offload blame than to own our part.
  • Fear of responsibility. Owning a problem means having to fix it, which requires energy, hard conversations, and sometimes becoming a different person.
  • Ego. It quietly convinces us that we're too good, too experienced, or too far along to still be dealing with certain things.

The shift he encouraged was simple but powerful. Stop asking why things are going wrong and start asking what next.

He offered four questions you should ask yourself:

  1. What am I tolerating that I shouldn't be?
  2. What conversation have I been avoiding?
  3. What decision have I been delaying?
  4. If I could fix one thing about myself, what would have the biggest impact?

His closing thought was one of the most powerful ideas from the call. He said the solution isn't always a perfect outcome. The solution is a way of being. You can't control everything that happens, but you can always choose how you show up for it. That choice, made consistently, is what changes everything.

What Agents Can Experience When They Join Our Real Estate Team

For real estate agents considering a team, this is the kind of growth environment that matters. Joining our team means more than gaining access to systems and support. It means being part of a culture that values coaching, accountability, honest conversations, and the daily habits that help agents build stronger businesses and better lives.

Agents can expect opportunities to learn from high-performance coaching, reflect on the decisions that shape their results, and develop the confidence to address challenges directly. Whether you are a newer agent building your foundation or an experienced agent ready for a higher level of focus, our team is designed to help you take ownership of your next step.

Real Estate Coaching, Accountability, and Professional Growth

Real estate is full of variables, from shifting markets and client expectations to lead generation and time management. While no one can control every outcome, agents can control their preparation, conversations, follow-through, and mindset. Our team creates space for agents to strengthen those skills through coaching, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The goal is not perfection. It is progress. Agents who join our team can experience a supportive community that challenges them to identify what they are tolerating, have the conversations they have been avoiding, make timely decisions, and become the kind of professional who can create meaningful results over time.

Build Your Real Estate Career With a Growth-Minded Team

If you are looking for a real estate team where personal development and business growth go together, we would welcome a conversation. Our agents are encouraged to show up with ownership, curiosity, and a willingness to grow, because those qualities create a stronger career, stronger client relationships, and a stronger team.
