February Pup-Date
Our Pledge a Pup partnership with NW Battle Buddies continues to be one of the most heart-warming parts of our year.
Right now, the puppies are in their most adorable stage—full of curiosity, wiggly tails, and sleepy cuddle piles. Between nap time, mealtime, and short bursts of playful energy, they’re learning important early socialization skills that will help them grow into confident, capable companions.
From the tiniest snuggles with mom to their first adventures on the grass, these pups are already showing the gentle temperaments and sweet personalities that make them such a perfect fit for their future roles.

Update from NW Battle Buddies
One of the reasons our purpose breeding program is so important is because we want to provide the healthiest genetically tested and most sound temperament puppies to our veterans as possible. Training is only part of what is required, the genetics and health of the individual dog is equally, if not more important. Our purpose breeding programs have a much higher success rate than when we acquired dogs out of shelters. However, it is always wonderful to adopt a dog out of a shelter, save a life to save a life, however, the failure rate is much higher, and donor dollars are lost once the dog is repurposed and is not able to be used as a service dog. Our puppies are bred on site in Battle Ground, Washington and then at eight weeks old they are adopted into foster homes to be raised for 9 to 12 months. In these homes, they are loved and get a great start on crate training, housebreaking, and manners. We are always so grateful to our foster families who give our dogs their first experiences in life that will last them a lifetime.
